Refund Policy
Last Updated: March 2, 2026
This Refund Policy ("Policy") explains when and how CORPIUS may issue refunds for services purchased through https://corpius.net. Our goal is to provide full transparency while ensuring maximum protection for the Company against financial, operational, and legal risks.
By purchasing any CORPIUS service, you agree to this Refund Policy and that all decisions regarding refunds are made at CORPIUS's sole discretion.
1. Core Principle
All CORPIUS services involve professional labor, administrative work, document preparation, tax analysis, compliance review, and engagement with government agencies. For this reason, the majority of services are non-refundable once work begins. This aligns with industry standards for business formation, tax preparation, and compliance services in the United States.
2. Strictly Non-Refundable Services
The following services are non-refundable under any circumstances, whether fully or partially completed:
2.1 Business Formation Services
Once CORPIUS begins work on C-Corporation, S-Corporation, LLC, or Nonprofit formation — including preparing formation documents, verifying business name availability, generating drafts, submitting filings to state agencies, preparing corporate kits, initiating EIN application, or compliance review — the service becomes strictly non-refundable.
2.2 Government & State Filing Fees
All filing fees paid to Secretary of State, IRS, federal or state agencies, or any government registry are non-refundable by law. These fees are outside our control and cannot be recovered once paid.
2.3 EIN Application (IRS)
Once we prepare or submit your EIN request to the Internal Revenue Service, the service becomes strictly non-refundable.
2.4 Tax Filing & Preparation Services
No refunds will be issued once tax preparation has started, bank statements have been reviewed, expenses have been categorized, drafts have been created, returns are prepared, reviewed, or filed, or corrections or amendments have been started.
2.5 Bookkeeping & Financial Document Review
These services require manual professional work. Once initiated, they are non-refundable.
2.6 Professional Time & Administrative Processing
Any time spent on consulting, emails, document review, drafting, verification, compliance checks, or internal analysis is counted as work performed and is not refundable.
3. Conditional Refunds (Very Limited Cases)
A partial refund may be considered only if ALL conditions are met:
- Work has not started
- No documents have been reviewed or prepared
- No filings were initiated
- No compliance, tax, or formation steps were taken
- No third-party fees were paid
Even in eligible cases, CORPIUS may deduct payment processor fees, administrative fees, internal review time, and pre-processing labor. The refund amount is determined at CORPIUS's sole discretion.
4. Situations Where Refunds Are Not Provided
4.1 Incorrect or Incomplete Information Was Provided
CORPIUS is not responsible for delays, penalties, or rejections resulting from inaccurate client data including errors in personal data, business information, tax statements, bank statements, ownership structure, prior-year returns, or identification documents.
4.2 Government or IRS Delays, Rejections, or Processing Issues
We are not responsible for slow IRS responses, state processing delays, rejected filings, resubmission requirements, agency backlogs, mail or e-filing delays, or changes in federal or state regulations. These are external factors and cannot be grounds for a refund.
4.3 Client Changes Mind
No refunds are provided if a client "changes their mind" after ordering.
4.4 Client Failed to Provide Required Documentation
If the client does not upload required documents on time — no refunds.
4.5 Work Was Completed or Partially Completed
Any labor performed triggers a non-refundable status.
4.6 Client Attempts a Chargeback
Chargebacks for completed or partially completed work are strictly prohibited. Attempts may result in account suspension, cancellation of ongoing services, reporting to payment processors, collections activity, and/or legal action for fraud.
5. No Guarantees of Results
CORPIUS does not guarantee outcomes that depend on IRS approval or timelines, tax refund amounts, audit outcomes, state acceptance, EIN issuance speed, entity formation speed, government decisions, or third-party system performance. Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction with outcomes outside CORPIUS's control.
6. Cancellations
Cancellation is allowed only before any work begins. If work has already started (even partially), cancellation is not possible. If eligible, CORPIUS may issue a partial refund minus expenses.
7. Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund, email [email protected] and include:
- Full name
- Email associated with the order
- Order ID
- Date of purchase
- Full explanation and supporting evidence
Submitting a request does NOT guarantee a refund. We respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Refund Processing Times
If a refund is approved: Processing takes 7–14 business days. Bank posting time may vary. Government fees cannot be refunded.
9. Fraud Prevention & Chargeback Protection
We maintain strict verification logs and may submit timestamps, IP logs, document-upload history, communication records, and internal audit data to payment processors or platforms when defending chargebacks or fraud disputes. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in immediate termination, legal action, transfer to debt collection, and permanent ban from all CORPIUS services.
10. Replacement, Corrections & Alternative Remedies
Instead of refunds, CORPIUS may provide document corrections, re-submission of filings, tax return adjustments, updated drafts, service credits, or discounted re-work options. These options are offered solely at our discretion.
11. Required Legal Exceptions
Where required by state or federal consumer law, CORPIUS will comply with statutory refund requirements only if the client meets all legal criteria and provides verified documentation.
12. Updates to This Refund Policy
We may revise this Policy at any time due to regulatory changes, updates in IRS/state requirements, internal compliance improvements, operational workflow updates, system upgrades, or risk-mitigation decisions. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
